Key Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of cost management, from feasibility and pre-contract estimation to post-contract administration and final account.
• Lead project cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure cost plans and estimates are accurate, consistent, and aligned with client objectives.
• Prepare tender documentation, evaluate bids, and manage procurement processes.
• Oversee value engineering exercises to optimize project outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, expenditures, and variations, ensuring contractual compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, promoting AECOM's professional standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior cost management professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement in cost management procedures and best practices.
• Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities for client growth.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in cost management, ideally in the UAE.
• MRICS accreditation is essential.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and cost planning methodologies.
• Proven experience in pre- and post-contract cost control for major infrastructure or building projects.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client expectations effectively.
