Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary client point of contact across a portfolio of major projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Lead delivery strategy, scope definition, and commercial direction in line with client and AECOM governance requirements
  • Oversee feasibility, concept, and detailed cost estimates, ensuring accuracy, benchmarking, and risk allowances
  • Lead cost planning, value engineering, and cost control activities across project lifecycles
  • Approve cost reports, cash flows, earned value assessments, and financial forecasts
  • Review and recommend contractor and consultant progress payments, variations, and claims
  • Direct preparation and review of procurement documentation, RFPs, tender evaluations, and recommendations
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and emerging cost issues early and implement mitigation strategies
  • Manage and allocate resources across multiple projects within agreed fee and budget constraints
  • Mentor, develop, and provide technical guidance to Senior Quantity Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, and graduate staff
  • Lead internal technical reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance of deliverables
  • Support business development activities, framework growth, and strengthening of long-term client relationships
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in cost management or quantity surveying
  • MRICS certification is mandatory
  • Strong experience delivering cost management services on large mixed-use and infrastructure projects
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities within a consultancy environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Experience working within multinational or top-tier consultancy environments
