Job Description

Experienced cost management professional with minimum 12 years in the construction industry, including minimum of 5 years in Dubai or the Middle East.
Ideally involved in predominantly Pre-Contract roles, having managed high-profile landmark projects and has led teams of larger than 6. Experience in a range of asset types including High-End Residential, Commercial and Hospitality. Experience in leading projects with large CAPEX values exceeding US$ 1bn. Ability to take ownership and lead work under minimal direction. Ability to carry out services and provide advisory on procurement and phasing strategies, consultant appointments, contractor selection, support feasibility studies, pre-contract estimating including design to budget responsibilities.
Manages projects and resources according to the requirements of the project and acts as primary point of contact for clients on mid and large-scale projects. Accountable for a variety of deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, generally within an end market sector. Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood. Manages the resources across several projects, within the established budgets. Manages quality control and ensures all procedures are complied with. Manages benchmarking, data collection, internal reporting. Supervises and mentors more junior members of staff to enable their development. Monitors and manages the performance of direct reports.

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or other Construction related field. Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS)
