Job Description

The Dubai office of a leading offshore law firm is looking to appoint an Associate to its Corporate team, working on significant cross-border M&A and investment mandates. The successful candidate will advise on a diverse range of transactions involving Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law, including joint ventures, acquisitions, series financings and corporate reorganisations.
Applicants should be Commonwealth qualified lawyers with 3-5 years' PQE and strong corporate experience, ideally gained within a top-tier international or offshore firm. Any exposure to funds work will be advantageous, though not essential. Candidates should be technically strong, commercially minded and confident in managing client relationships. Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills are required, along with the ability to thrive in a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Key aspects of the role include:

• Advising on complex corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures and reorganisations.
• Supporting partners and senior counsel on a wide range of cross-border mandates.
• Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
• Participating in knowledge sharing, training and associate-led development programmes.
• Collaborating across jurisdictions within a global firm network.
