Job Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing merchandise, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy

Organization and Storage:

Efficiently organize and arrange furniture and home decor items within the back store, utilizing space effectively to maximize storage capacity.

Order Fulfillment:

Assist in picking and packing items for customer orders, ensuring items are accurately selected and prepared for delivery or customer pickup.

Quality Control:

Inspect items for any defects or damages before they are placed in the store or prepared for delivery, ensuring only quality products reach customers.

Logistics Support:

Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate the movement of furniture items between the back store and the retail floor, ensuring timely replenishment of stock.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate documentation of inventory movement, transfers, and adjustments, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible when needed.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices when handling heavy furniture items and operating equipment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage area.

Cleanliness and Maintenance:

Keep the back store area clean, organized, and free from clutter. Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment

Communication:

Communicate effectively with team members, especially the sales and logistics teams, to ensure a seamless flow of information regarding stock availability, restocking needs, and any inventory-related issues

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications is a plus. Previous experience in a back store, warehouse, or inventory management role, preferably within the retail or furniture industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and arrange furniture items efficiently. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy furniture items, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods. Proficient in using inventory management systems or basic computer applications.

Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
