Assistant/associate Professor In Economic Entomology
Job Description
The College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at the UAE University seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor in Economic Entomology to join the Department of Integrative Agriculture. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research and community service in the areas of insect biology, integrated pest management, insect ecology and applied entomology with a focus on agricultural systems.
Minimum Qualification
The candidate should have experience delivering undergraduate and graduate courses in the required field of expertise and related subjects. He/she should be able to supervise students research projects and theses. The candidate will play a key role in strengthening the department's teaching programs and advancing research addressing pest management, insect-plant interactions, biological control, pollinator health and the impact of insects on food security and sustainability in arid regions.
