Job Description

: The Department of Learning and Educational Leadership in the College of Education at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor position in Educational Leadership. The Department seeks a scholar with a strong record of teaching, research, and service who can contribute to the growth of our graduate and undergraduate programs. Responsibilities include: o Teach undergraduate courses. o Teach graduate-level courses in the Master's and Doctoral programs in Educational Leadership. o Advise and mentor Master's and Doctoral students, including supervision of graduation projects, theses and dissertations. o Maintain an active agenda of scholarly research and publication in educational leadership and related fields. o Pursue external funding through grant writing and research collaborations. o Establish interdisciplinary partnerships with other academic units within the College, country, and internationally. o Build and sustain partnerships with schools and educational organizations. o Contribute to program development and continuous improvement. o Provide service to the department, college, university, and the broader educational community. o Organize and facilitate professional workshops for university and community stakeholders.



Minimum Qualification



An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership or a closely related field from an accredited and highly reputable institution. o A strong record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferably Scopus-indexed Q1 and Q2 journals. o Evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level. o Demonstrated experience in advising graduate students and supervising dissertations/theses. o Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and service. o Proficiency in English language.

Preferred Qualification



Proficiency in Arabic language is a plus. o Knowledge and experience with the UAE culture and education system is a plus.
