Role overview
The Assistant to the General Manager provides direct executive support to the General Manager and acts as a key coordinator across operations, administration and business projects. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent communication, strong execution, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while representing senior management with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Provide day-to-day executive assistance to the General Manager (calendar management, travel planning, meeting coordination).
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and follow up on action items to ensure timely closure.
Support external communications, client reception and business liaison activities.
Draft, proofread and format letters, reports, presentations and other management materials.
Consolidate data, prepare summaries and assist with reporting to senior management.
Coordinate travel plans, transport arrangements and logistics for senior management.
Assist in coordinating and following up on selected business projects and initiatives.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Carry out additional tasks and ad-hoc duties assigned by the General Manager.
Required qualifications & skills
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Management Assistant or similar role supporting senior management (preferred).
