Job Description

Develop specifications and selection for installation of a variety of water pumps / control panels ranging from residential to industrial uses and prepares cost estimates for projects on determining price of finished product and service and check for technical compliance. Specialize according to particular service performed or type of product assembled/manufactured.Computes cost factors used for preparing estimates for management and determining cost effectiveness.B. Responsibilities and DutiesDrafting and Specifying Technicalities of pumps & Devices. Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to inform others (customers/manger) about how pumps, devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
Estimating the characteristics of pumps & devices, or Information, estimating sizes, distances, and quantities, or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity. Evaluating information against a set of standards and verifying that it is correct.
Use Estimating Methodology Skills and perform \'Data Analysis\' & \'Benchmarking\' such as productivity analysis, product development/installation analysis, normalization (inflation, cost act), historical data analysis, benchmarking, estimate validation, strategic and conceptual estimating, algorithms (list equipment factored, capacity factored, modelling, unit, line item, etc)
Estimating process, engineering document reading, quantification/take-off from engineering drawings, work break down structure, obtaining/using cost data and vendor quotes, risk assessment and contingency.
Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. Identifying information received by making estimates or categorizations, recognizing differences or similarities, or sensing changes in circumstances or events. Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Reviews data to determine material and labour requirements and prepares itemized list. Evaluating information against a set of standards and verifying that it is correct.
Prepares final estimates for pumps selection, parts, equipment and materials and cost effectiveness. Performs final analysis of blueprints, engineering drawings, proposals, and other documentation, to prepare pump specifications and selection, time, cost, and labour estimates for projects or services. Apply specialized methodologies, techniques, or processes and completes the submittal process.
May perform project control skills such as cost control, forecasting, planning scheduling requirements etc.
Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in either written form or by electronic.
GeneralRecommend improvements to departmental policy and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of Abu Dhabi Branch function, so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost effective service to customers.
Ensure compliance to all relevant QHSE procedures and controls across Abu Dhabi Branch function to guarantee employee safety, health, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Graduate/ Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Experience (minimum preferred)
3-5 years\' experience in estimating specification, selection and cost effectiveness of installing pumps in residential to industrial units.
Technical RequirementsKnowledge of estimation & installation/ production processing, inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, & costs.
Knowledge in engineering, technology & design techniques
Proficient in MS Office package; ERP/CRM software (Desired)
Valid UAE driving license. (Desired)
