HOW A SECURITY OFFICER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT ? Administers and coordinates facility security activities ? Verify Security Clearances using Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). ? Contractor must have the ability to interpret JPAS, and provide recommendations to ARCENT for interpretation. ? Work with ARCENT Security Manager for compliance of appropriate regulations and complete the necessary paperwork for the ARCENT security manager to obtain badges and computer access to the ARCENT computer network. ? Assist G2 in formal Information Security Inspections and briefings to 1st TSC and subordinate unit personnel (IAW AR 380-5, AR 190-11). ? Assist G2 in unannounced security inspections as determined by formal Security Inspections. ? Establish a 1st TSC security management program by training the 1st TSC Staff and subordinate units in accordance with AR 380-5, AR 380-67, and AR 190-11. The training will be conducted quarterly or on an as needed basis as determined the G2. ? Understand security clearance process to assist 1st TSC and subordinate unit personnel to submit the necessary paperwork to Central Clearance Facility (CCF)/Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) CCF/DISCO as required (AR 380-67). ? Assist in the development/modification of 1st TSC SOPs and Policies pertaining to AR 380- 5, AR 380-67, and AR 190-11 as required. ? Manage a Security Clearance Access Roster (SCAR). ? Process required paperwork to facilitate Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) read on with the ARCENT Specialty Security Officer SSO. ? Provide subject matter expertise supporting security investigations/compromises conducted by the G6. These investigations would include both military/government and civilians, whoever compromises classified information. ? Conduct required administrative tasks, and seek and receive guidance from the Senior Intel Analyst and the 1st TSC G2 representative. ? Provide reports and recommendations to the 1st TSC G2 related to security management duties. ? Write effectively using military writing style IAW DA Pamphlet 600-67. ? Change, or coordinate to change, door and safe combinations IAW with AR 380-5.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: ? Previous experience as a security manager. ? Knowledge of Army regulations referenced in the PWS. ? Working knowledge of computers, emails, and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook). ? Must be able to meet CENTCOM medical and deployment requirements for OCONUS. ? Prior to start of contract, a current TOP SECRET SENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED INTELLIGENCE (TS/SCI) clearance is required. Interim will be accepted until finalized. ?
