As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will lead the operations of a specific outlet. Your key duties and responsibilities will be to ensure profitable operations, achieve outlet business goals, ensure the manning schedule is up to date, oversee regular preventative maintenance, maintain outlet safety and sanitation standards, and lead by example through a \'hands on\' approach to motivate team members to excel. You will also manage team member performance, identify any training needs, develop and deliver the required training for supervisors and team members in an effective way to maximise guest satisfaction and develop team members to enable them to achieve their career goals.
  • To promote and ensure guest satisfaction, achieved through his/her ability to develop and maintain a strong team environment, placing emphasis on Associate satisfaction and delivery of prompt, courteous service.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Prompt and courteous delivery of all orders, maintaining a positive image through all each guest contact and through cleanliness of guest areas.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Assure total guest satisfaction in the service of food and beverage through the supervision of prompt and courteous delivery of all Restaurants and Room Service orders
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 During shift, ensure that guests are satisfied by assisting with serving, seating, communication with kitchen, and by striving to speak to all guests.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in maintaining a highly motivated and well-trained staff
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Open and close shift in accordance with Manager\'s Checklist.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Train, maintain and enforce all Anantara Service Standards
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Properly execute revenue and check control procedures on shift
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all Associates and guests
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Gather and implement all proper tools for running shifts (i.e. schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks)
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Find solutions for problems such as call outs, last minute bookings, or any other daily problems that may arise.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Be on the floor during entire meal period and ensure adequate coverage
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that only a quality product is being served
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain proper Associate uniform standards
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage an effective repair and maintenance program through the use of work orders, inspections, etc.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Exercise station rotation to ensure stations are distributed fairly. Handle daily Associate relations (i.e. scheduling, time adjustments, etc.)
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist any Associate in his/her job performance, when required, to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in implementing an effective training program for new and current associates
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Encourage problem solving by Associates through proper training and empowerment, to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Establish effective communication with Associates to gain their trust and respect through his/her hard work. Maintain fair and consistent counseling and/or disciplinary procedures in accordance with Anantara\'s Guarantee of Fair Treatment Policy
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and recommend incentive programs, new ideas, and methods of operation
Qualifications
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 College diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Previous experience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations management role
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Passion for leadership and teamwork.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent guest service skills.
