Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day restaurant operations and step in for the Restaurant Manager when required
• Lead from the floor to deliver polished, consistent service across all service periods
• Ensure all service moments align with IHG brand standards and outlet service philosophy
• Supervise, coach, and motivate the team to deliver memorable guest experiences
• Conduct engaging shift briefings highlighting VIPs, special occasions, and daily priorities
• Maintain strong floor presence, engaging with guests and handling feedback professionally
• Drive Guest Love results and manage service recovery seamlessly
• Oversee cleanliness, safety, and presentation to luxury standards at all times
• Support stock control, ordering, and cost management within approved budgets
• Drive upselling initiatives, team incentives, and outlet performance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and responsible business standards
• Support sustainability initiatives and IHG Green Engage practices
• Take on ad-hoc operational duties to ensure flawless service delivery

Ideal Profile

• Previous supervisory experience in an a la carte restaurant within a luxury hotel environment
• Confident, hands-on leadership style with strong communication and people skills
• Solid understanding of service operations, guest experience, and basic financial controls
• Ability to review service and sales performance and contribute to P and L discussions
• Physically fit to remain on the floor for extended periods
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Full compliance with local food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Warm, polished, and approachable manner
