We are currently seeking a highly experienced

Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)

to support site supervision activities for a high-profile

hospitality development project

. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in site engineering and construction supervision with a proven track record in

luxury hotel developments

.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Resident Engineer in overseeing all construction activities at site. Supervise contractor's works to ensure adherence to contract drawings, specifications, and timelines. Assist in reviewing shop drawings, materials, method statements, and technical submittals. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. Identify and resolve technical issues during construction in coordination with relevant disciplines. Monitor progress, prepare site reports, and participate in progress meetings with contractors and clients. Maintain detailed records of site activities, correspondence, and decisions. Ensure HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) regulations are fully implemented on-site. Coordinate with internal design teams, stakeholders, and local authorities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience

, preferably within consultancy firms. Demonstrated experience working on

hospitality sector projects

(luxury hotels, resorts). Strong knowledge of local building codes, construction standards, and quality control practices. Experience in managing multiple stakeholders on fast-track projects. Excellent technical report writing and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and familiar with project management tools. Professional membership or registration with local authorities (e.g., UAE Society of Engineers, DM)
