Position Overview
Movenpick Hotel, part of the Accor Group, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Reservations Manager to oversee daily operations of the reservations department. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all reservations operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily processes.
  • Handle booking inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring conversion into confirmed reservations.
  • Support the Reservations Manager in setting and achieving revenue and occupancy targets.
  • Conduct daily arrival checks and coordinate with Front Office and Sales teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Ensure all guest profiles, corporate accounts, and travel agent details are correctly entered in Opera or other PMS systems.
  • Monitor online distribution channels (GDS, CRO, brand.com, OTAs) for accuracy in rates, availability, and promotions.
  • Implement room inventory restrictions and manage overbooking strategies as directed by the Reservations Manager.
  • Review daily pick-up reports, cancellations, and no-shows to maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Prepare daily and weekly revenue performance reports, rate audits, and availability summaries.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the reservations team to deliver outstanding service and achieve departmental KPIs.
  • Oversee group bookings, allotments, and special events to ensure effective coordination and timely confirmation.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales teams to develop pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Maintain communication with Travel Agents, corporate clients, and internal departments for smooth coordination.
  • Handle guest complaints, special requests, and VIP reservations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support the preparation of annual business plans and budgets related to room revenue performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, data protection standards, and fire, health, and safety procedures.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in reservations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
  • Proficient in Opera PMS and other reservation or distribution systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a revenue-driven mindset.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented.
