The Candidate
As reservations manager you will join a committed reservation team, driven with the intent of delivering \xe2\x80\x98FIVE-star\xe2\x80\x99 guest experiences to an international diaspora in the heart of vibrant Dubai and Zurich.
The VIBE at FIVE is all about performing optimally while having the best professional experience of your life. You will be expected to have a passion for your role, disrupt norms all whilst having the best time of your life.

As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing guest solutions that break boundaries.
We are looking for a natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities, can focus on, and execute, tasks with a sharp eye for detail. An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think \xe2\x80\x98on your feet\xe2\x80\x99 during changing situations is also essential.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Respond positively to reservation inquiries
  
• Provide prompt and efficient service while maintaining FIVE standards
  
• Ensure all FIVE\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures are understood and adhered to, at all times
  
• To be fully conversant with all business segments (rates, offers, promotions) and an ability to handle all tasks linked to the reservations department
  
• Maximize room revenues, and create additional revenue, by utilizing effective upselling techniques and following the strategies in place
  
• Ensure all agents are equipped to answer internal and external phone calls and ensure positive outcomes for all guest queries and room reservation requests in a timely and efficient manner
  
• Ensure smooth running of the reservations department, where all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level
  
• Supervise the team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest inquiries and problem resolution
  
• Deliver on departmental plans and objectives, where hotel initiatives & targets are achieved
  
• Collaborate with their immediate report, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained
  
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting the company culture and values.
