Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Assistant Project Manager

to support our

Procurement Team

in managing

fit-out, refurbishment, and capex projects

across our nurseries. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Support project scoping, planning, and scheduling with internal and external stakeholders Develop and track detailed project plans (Gantt charts, S-curves, schedules) Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for timely execution Monitor project costs, vendor invoices, and manage change orders Conduct site inspections and ensure quality, safety, and compliance Maintain all documentation including drawings, RFIs, permits, and handover reports Prepare weekly dashboards for progress, cost updates, and HSE metrics Ensure all work complies with local authorities (ADEK, Municipality, Civil Defense) and KFG standards Assist in project closeouts, snagging, and lessons-learned documentation

Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering (Civil preferred)

or

Construction Management

3-5 years

of experience in

interior fit-out or construction

, preferably across multi-site projects Strong command of

MS Project

, project scheduling tools, and CRM systems Competent in reviewing

AutoCAD drawings

, BOQs, and managing cost controls Familiarity with UAE authority approval processes (Municipality, Civil Defense, ADEK) Excellent organizational and communication skills

Valid UAE driving license

Nice to Have

PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification

in project management Experience in the

education or childcare sector
