Overall Purpose of the role The Assistant Project Manager role is fulfilled when Mid-Career Architect with active exposure to Project Management can engage and handle basic project management tasks under supervision & has the potential to learn and grow in this field. The role takes on basic Project management responsibilities such as but not limited to team coordination, project communication, follow-up tasks, minuting & documentation tasks, project monitoring, project reporting, contractual review & participation in procurement, managing small projects independently, able to participate across all Project Management verticals as and when required under guidance. Key Objectives Actively participating in ALL PM Department Activities and Tasks Project Monitoring & Control Project Management Coordination Project Cost Management Project Report Writing Authorities Interfacing Tender Management Procurement of Project Team / External sub-consultants Contract Drafting (Sub-Consultancy Agreement) based on existing templates Participation in Organizational Development Tasks Education and Training Degree educated \xe2\x80\x93 bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in architecture \xe2\x80\x93 Masters desirable Excellent communication skills Software skills \xe2\x80\x93 MS Project; Knowledge of MS Office & Adobe InDesign is mandatory Excellent command of written and spoken English Member of UAE Society Engineers & AIA (preferred) and PMI (highly regarded). Registration with home country professional body highly regarded. Experience Previous experience in an office environment working under Lead Architect of Project Manager Minimum 5 years work experience. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Ability to commute/relocate:
