Role Description:
Teach and Supervise UAEU Master of Genetic Counseling students
Undertake research in areas of genetic counseling, communication, and the clinical application of genomics
Assists in variant classification based on emerging scientific information
Develop education and other materials related to the Master of Genetic Counseling Program and other areas within the Department of Genetics and Genomics, UAEU
Participate in the medical genetics, genetic counseling, and patient advocacy communities
Provide genetic counseling and facilitation of the communication of test results
Minimum Qualification
PhD Degree from an accredited genetic counseling program
Genetic Counseling Board-certification
Preferred Qualification As above
