Assistant Pet Groomer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lead groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
Gently handle pets of all breeds and sizes with patience and care.
Clean and sanitize grooming equipment and work areas.
Help restrain pets during grooming and report any behavioral or health concerns.
Maintain proper grooming records and appointment schedules.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of the grooming area.
Restock grooming supplies and inform the team of low inventory.
Greet pet owners, assist with check-ins/check-outs, and communicate grooming instructions clearly.
Support the grooming team in ensuring pets have a stress-free and positive grooming experience.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in a pet salon or veterinary clinic preferred. Passion for working with animals and a calm, gentle demeanor. Basic knowledge of grooming techniques and pet care. Good physical stamina and ability to lift small to medium-sized pets. Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior groomers. Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. Miscellaneous tasks as neededJob Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
