Job Description
Assistant Pastry Chef
On behalf of one of the largest pastry shops in Qatar and the middle East, We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Pastry Chef to support the Pastry Chef in preparing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods. The ideal candidate will assist in daily production while maintaining excellent taste, presentation, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked items Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes Decorate pastries and desserts as instructed Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen Follow food safety and hygiene standards Assist with inventory control and proper storage of ingredients Support the team during busy production and service hours
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of local cake experience in a pastry kitchen is preferred Basic knowledge of baking and dessert preparation Creativity and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good teamwork and communication skills Willingness to work flexible shifts
