We are currently hiring an experienced and passionate
Assistant Pastry Chef
to join our fine dining, multi-cuisine restaurant located in Lusail. The ideal candidate will support the Pastry Chef in daily kitchen operations and ensure high standards of quality, presentation, and food safety are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Pastry Chef in the preparation and presentation of desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and plating according to restaurant standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section in compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines
Support in training junior staff when required
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
as an Assistant Pastry Chef, preferably in a fine dining or multi-cuisine restaurant
Valid
Food Handling Certificate
Valid
QID
with transferable visa
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking fundamentals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail
Ready to join immediately
