Job Title: Experienced Assistant Operations Manager

Location: Uniforms Manufacturing Plant, Umm Al Quwain

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Operations Manager in the uniform industry to supervise the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth workflow, uphold product quality, and oversee staff performance to meet production deadlines and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

- Plan, organize, and manage the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of orders.

- Monitor the production process and make adjustments to workflows as needed.

- Achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.

Quality Control:

- Develop and maintain strict quality control measures throughout the production process.

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet client specifications and company standards.

Team Supervision:

- Direct and oversee a team of workers, including tailors, cutters, and other factory staff.

- Provide training, guidance, and conduct performance reviews for team members.

- Address conflicts and promote a collaborative work environment.

Inventory and Supplies Management:

- Track inventory levels and ensure the availability of raw materials, tools, and equipment.

- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain a steady supply chain.

Compliance and Safety:

- Enforce workplace safety protocols and standards.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and factory regulations.

Cost and Waste Management:

- Minimize waste by optimizing production processes.

- Control costs to keep production within budget.

Customer Communication:

- Work with sales or customer service teams to understand client needs.

- Address client concerns related to production and delivery timelines.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the textile or uniform manufacturing sector.

- Strong knowledge of garment production processes and quality control practices.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Good communication skills in both Hindi and English, along with strong problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with industry-specific machinery and equipment is required.

- Experience with inventory and production management tools or software is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or degree in Textile Management, Garment Technology, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in uniform production or a similar role.
