Job in brief Are you an experienced, enthusiastic, highly challenging Operations Manager in Marine Insurance, having a passion and thorough knowledge of Marine insurance, then you are the one we are looking for? This is an excellent opportunity for those who are industrious, dynamic and hard-working individual. In order to be considered, you must be already based in the UAE. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in verifying policy limits, deductibles, locations, exclusions, & endorsements - Investigate each claim and evaluate coverage, liability & damages - Oversee claims management including General Liability
• Monitor and stay up to date with the country's rules (mainly the Insurance Authority

requirements) with regard to the sale and brokerage of marine insurance

• Obtain proper certification and licensing in the given jurisdiction.
• Follow up on the day to day activities/interaction with the local Insurance providers and/or CHQ for the global insurance program.
• Admin work (certificate issuance, billing, quotes, needs assessment,

proposals).

• Train and coach operations, sales and account managers.
• Assist with liability/insurance claims whenever required.
• Ensure that the entity has an active role in developing existing
• Consistent follow up with the operations team for transactional

business selling.

• Establish and maintain relationship with insurance providers in the UAE in line with Prepare, update and monitor the execution of the business plan of the entity.
• Review entity goals and business plan periodically.

Required Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as Marine insurance Operation Manager in the UAE.
• Bachelor's degree in marine or any relevant to this role.
• Experience in handling a variety of Marine /Inland Marine claims-Cargo, P&L, hull, marine liability claims also Contractor's Equipment.
• Must be fantastic in communication, oral as well as in written.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance industry, preferably insurance brokerage.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills.
