Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide basic nursing care such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and dressing patients. Assist with monitoring vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration). Administer oral medications as prescribed and directed by the registered nurse. Support mobility by helping with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation. Assist in wound care, dressing changes, and personal hygiene. Observe and report any changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Follow infection control and hygiene practices strictly. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients. Educate patients and family members on basic care techniques under the supervision of a nurse.

Requirements:

DHA / MOH / DOH license or eligibility as an Assistant Nurse (preferred or required depending on the location). Completed nursing diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution. Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital, clinic, or homecare setting. Good understanding of patient care and hygiene protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Physically fit to assist patients with mobility needs. Compassionate, responsible, and professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in homecare or geriatric nursing. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Knowledge of Arabic or Tagalog is a plus (based on client base). Familiarity with digital health records or homecare documentation systems.
