Job Overview
As an Assistant Merchandiser for the Lingerie category, you will support the Senior Merchandiser in executing allocation strategies, analyzing business trends, updating buying tools, and assisting in catalogue planning. You will also manage the flow of stock from head office to stores and ensure data accuracy across systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage allocation accuracy, ratio balancing, and system-based demand planning
• Lead the use of Invent Analytics for AI-based allocation solutions
• Generate business reports and weekly trade analysis
• Track promotions and flag best/worst sellers based on customer behavior
• Assist in catalogue planning and manage buying sheets and digital range systems
• Prepare planograms and IBO range proposals
• Communicate regularly with stores to understand stock issues and regional needs
• Ensure product data and online descriptions are accurate and customer-friendly
• Maintain reporting processes and seasonal sales data
• Support leadership in team development, talent planning, and transformation to digital mindset

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred
• 3 to 4 years of experience in fashion buying or merchandising, preferably within MENA or UK/European brands
• High level of proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
• Confident team player with excellent communication and cultural awareness
• Experience in managing people and leading projects is an advantage
• Enthusiastic about the M&S brand and fashion retail
