Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Support Project Manager to supervises the implementation of projects including, verification of bidders lists, participation in the preparation of Call for Tender documents consisting of terms of reference, scope of works, special terms and conditions, payment terms and project master schedule.
  • Develop project objectives, execution strategy, work breakdown structure and contracting strategy identifying types of contracts required for the project.
  • Works in the line with Company HSE Policies, responsible for implementation of Company HSE, Quality Control and Assurance plans.
  • Coordinates and assists Project Manager in Technical bid evaluations including preparation of the Call for Tenders (RFP), prequalification, and Bidders List up to selection of the Contractors; also cover the duties of Project Manager during his absence
  • Assist the Project Manager to follows-up and coordinates the various contracts of the project to ensure interfaces are properly defined and monitored to avoid delays to the project.
  • Support the Project Manager to maintain close liaison with sites, project originators, end users and other departments to ensure that all company procedures are adhered to during project execution.
  • Supervises the performance of Contractors for the project.
  • Reviews contractors\' invoices and monitors contracts cost in liaison with Planning and Costing.
  • Ensures that close-out procedures for all contracts are being complied with including control of project as-built documentation, material reconciliation and close-out reports
  • Provides effective way forward and timely decision to ensure that all risks are properly managed
  • Act as a focal point for all interfaces of the projects within company to ensure successful completion of project activities.
  • Leads project reviews and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve project management.
  • Manage projects taking into account their strategic significance, resource requirements, and critical deadlines
  • Execute effective project communication plans
  • Facilitate change requests and communicate their impacts on project schedules and budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager and stakeholders to plan, execute, and resolve project issues such as schedule changes, inventory modifications, quality deviations, and other plan deviations as they arise.
  • Support Project Manager in overseeing the implementation of contractor mitigation plans, execution plans, procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Participate in design meetings with various consultants working on projects to ensure adherence to project designs and business plans.
  • Monitor and advise cost consultants to prepare budget validation estimates at each design stage, ensuring efficient project and budget management.
  • Monitor known and unknown project risks and keep projects on track through task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes.
  • Manage actual project costs versus budgets on a periodic basis, providing financial reports and data for informed decision-making.

Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s / Master\'s degree in engineering or related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years\' experience in construction or project management in related industry with atleast 2 years of track record in managing diverse projects successfully specially in hospitality sector.
