Job Description

Job Purpose



Provide forward-looking financial analysis and valuation support for Artan Holding's strategic projects, investments, and capital allocation decisions. The role is responsible for preparing robust business cases, conducting valuations of projects and businesses, and supporting the Group Head of Finance and senior management in evaluating acquisitions, partnerships, and growth initiatives.

Key Relationships



Internal:

Group Head of Finance, BU MDs, BU Finance Managers, Strategy/Transformation teams.

External:

Professional advisors (Big 4, corporate finance, legal), banks, potential JV partners and investors.

Authorities



Develop financial models and valuations for new investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.

Recommend capital allocation options to Group Head of Finance

Provide financial inputs for investment and Board papers.

Accountabilities



Accurate, well-structured valuation models (DCF, IRR, NPV, scenario analysis).

High-quality investment case papers prepared for senior management and Board.

Clear financial recommendations on capital allocation and funding structures.

Due diligence and market benchmarking support for potential deals.

Duties and Responsibilities



Investment Valuation & Business Case Modelling



Build financial models for new projects, acquisitions, and partnerships.

Conduct ROI, IRR, NPV, and payback analysis.

Perform scenario/sensitivity analysis to evaluate risks.

Benchmark competitor/market transactions.

Strategic Finance Support



Prepare investment case presentations and Board papers.

Support due diligence processes (financial, operational, commercial).

Evaluate capital allocation efficiency across business units

Funding & Capital Structure



Analyse funding options (debt, equity, leasing, JV structures).

Support financing negotiations with banks/advisors.

Assess impact of financing choices on group returns and risk.

Decision Support & Insights



Provide financial input into strategic planning and growth initiatives.

Partner with BU leaders to test viability of new programs and projects

Process & Tools



Develop standardized valuation templates and investment appraisal frameworks.

Contribute to building group-level financial dashboards for investments.

Skills



Strong corporate finance and valuation skills.

Advanced modelling expertise (DCF, IRR, NPV, scenario analysis).

Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling tools, and presentation preparation.

Strategic thinker with commercial awareness.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Specialized Training/ Knowledge Required



Investment and portfolio analysis methodologies.

Corporate finance, capital structuring, and M&A knowledge.

Familiarity with risk management and governance frameworks.

Education & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's desirable).

CFA track (Level I/II preferred) or ACA/ACCA/CIMA with corporate finance/valuation exposure

Experience



7-10 years of experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, or transaction advisory.

Prior experience in Big 4 TAS, investment banking, or corporate development strongly preferred.

Exposure to education, real estate, or diversified business groups a plus.
