Job Overview
The Assistant Manager - Housekeeping will oversee housekeeping attendants, manage day-to-day cleanliness standards, and collaborate with departments to ensure rooms are guest-ready. The position supports training plans, employee welfare, safety compliance, and documentation while enhancing the overall guest experience at Jumeirah Al Naseem.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, staff schedules, and guest complaint resolution
• Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and master key safety
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and F and B to align room readiness and maintenance timelines
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and service standards as per Jumeirah policies
• Conduct staff performance reviews and maintain high service standards
• Plan and monitor training programs, ensuring targets are met
• Maintain housekeeping records, SOPs, and internal document controls

Reporting & MIS

• Ensure timely reporting of operational performance, staff attendance, and training hours
• Coordinate with HR and planning teams for development goals and compliance documentation

Governance & Standards

• Ensure adherence to UAE regulations and Jumeirah Group's internal standards
• Promote health and safety awareness and policy compliance across the team

Required Skills and Experience

• UAE National with a Family Book (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years in a junior management housekeeping role in a 5-star hotel
• Diploma in Hotel Operations or Hotel Management
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Opera PMS (Cloud), and HotSoS systems
