The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the FMCG outlet, ensuring sales targets are met, inventory is efficiently managed, and staff performance aligns with company standards. This role is critical in maintaining smooth operations and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service
Assist in achieving sales targets and KPIs through effective sales strategies.
Monitor floor activities and assist sales staff in handling customer inquiries or issues.
Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times.
Help implement local marketing and promotional activities.
Inventory & Stock Management
Support in daily stock checking, ordering, and coordination with suppliers.
Monitor shelf life, stock rotation (FIFO), and product display compliance.
Report stock discrepancies and coordinate with the warehouse and procurement team.
Team Support & Leadership
Supervise daily staff duties and ensure schedules are followed.
Train and guide new team members on company policies and sales practices.
Provide feedback to team members and escalate HR issues to the Branch Manager.
Motivate staff to maintain a high level of productivity and discipline.
Operational Assistance
Assist in managing daily operations such as opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and reporting.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the branch.
Handle complaints and escalate major issues to the Branch Manager.
Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company SOPs.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and share basic reports (sales, stock, expenses) with the Branch Manager.
Maintain proper documentation for invoices, vendor transactions, and staff attendance.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
