Our client is looking for a Assistant Manager for Freight Forwarding Sales for a large group in UAE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Product Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. Responsible for achievement of Sales & volume targets.
Ensure a diverse mix of customer base. Ensuring rates are quoted to the customer within the stipulated time and meet targets through quick follow-up & conversion.
Compile and monitor approved company sales budgets, market share, and marketing plans for different Trade Lanes/ Services.
Drive Contract Logistics, warehousing & transport opportunities through active canvassing & lead sharing. Report on budget performance/variance every week.
Reporting on trade development and competition activities. Expansion of the customer spread and new customer creation.
Ensure a minimum of 4 meetings each day & conversion of a minimum 1 customer each month.
Credit evaluation of customers and ensure collections/ no bad debts.
Drive telemarketing. Business promotion with existing customers and implement Sales promotion initiatives.
Input and data analysis in the CRM. Generate nominations leads
