Job Description

Responsible for overseeing and analyzing internal and external communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across media and stakeholders. Additionally, drive CSR initiatives in collaboration with the PTA and their communities, fostering relationships and aligning all efforts with business objectives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




Strategic





Create and manage the daily communications activities of the company.

Support in elevating the corporate identity and brand reputation of the company and partners.

Responsible for external communications with media (PR and Digitally).

Establish and maintain compatible relationship with the PTA and all relevant agencies, along with strategic stakeholders and governmental departments.


Financial





Support the company to transition to digital and cost-effective communications.

Implement CSR Partnerships to share resources and reduce cost implication to the company.


Stakeholder / Customer





Provide the Head of Corporate Communications and the Department Director with regular reports to continuously enhance the departments outcome.

Support the business, the client (RTA) and Partners in creative effective communications strategies, physical, digital and on ground through wider campaigns.


Operational





Support in creating communications material to enhance press releases.

Work with media agencies to enhance the exposure of the business and the PTA.

Manage all digital channel for communications (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, website, etc.).

When necessary, create/update plans for all communication activities.

Work with external resources to maintain an understanding of the latest communication trends to enhance existing communications strategies and plans.

Manage and attend delegation for customers and corporate visits.

Responsible for creating, maintaining and executing effective Corporate Social Responsibility annual plans.

Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Head of corporate Communications, Department Director, Managing Director and/or Chief Executive Officer.


Capability/People





Lead all assigned Communications activities on behalf of Department and the Company.

Continuously work to support interns, fresh graduates and other entry level position within the Communications division.


DIMENSIONS





Regular reporting on all Communications and CSR activities to head of Corporate Communications and the Department Director. Explore and support new and existing MOU's.

Promote a healthy and professional office environment.

Education


Qualification in Business, Business Administration, or a related field. Post graduate preferable.


Qualification in Media Relations


Experience


Wworking experience as a Communications Specialist in large organisations - preferably in the public transportation industry.

Strong knowledge of corporate communications procedures.

Excellent project management and leadership skills.

Strong organizational skills


Public transportation sector experience preferred Regional and UAE experience is preferred.
