The role of Assistant Manager, CCIB Finance, Middle East, is a pivotal position within our team based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for supporting the financial management and reporting activities related to the Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB) division in the Middle East region. This involves collaborating closely with business partners to deliver timely and accurate financial insights and analysis which will drive informed decision-making and operational excellence.
You will play a crucial part in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing financial controls and efficiencies across the region, while helping to shape and implement strategic financial initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical competencies and leadership skills in a dynamic and fast-paced banking environment.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly financial reports, liaising with various stakeholders to clarify financial data, guiding less experienced colleagues, and actively participating in projects aimed at optimizing financial processes. In this role, you will:
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the CCIB division, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

  • Manage and enhance financial control frameworks, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging new systems, tools, and best practices to increase efficiency and data quality.
  • Contribute to talent development by mentoring junior colleagues and promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
  • Help identify financial risks and opportunities, advising senior management on sound business decisions.
  • Ensure timely completion of all financial reporting deliverables while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate actively in cross-functional projects and regulatory audits as required.
