Key Responsibilities

• Support the business head and finance manager in preparing annual budgets and business plans, ensuring targets are realistic and growth-oriented
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and MIS reports for management review
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of profit and loss statements to evaluate performance and recommend improvements
• Carry out feasibility studies for new stores, brands, and market expansions to assess profitability and ROI
• Prepare business plans and financial presentations for strategic decision-making
• Manage import payments, track expenses, and ensure compliance with internal financial policies
• Conduct breakeven analyses for underperforming stores and recommend corrective actions
• Oversee trade license and rental expense tracking and authorization processes
• Analyze stock and inventory reports, authorizing small ware and equipment movements within warehouses
• Serve as the point of contact for principals regarding financial and business matters
• Generate ad-hoc financial and analytical reports to support management and operational decisions

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management (CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance preferred)
• 4-7 years of experience in business finance, retail, or commercial accounting roles
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Experience in preparing feasibility studies and financial modeling
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proactive problem solver with high attention to detail
