We are seeking an experienced

Assistant Manager - Accounting

to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should be a

Chartered Accountant

with a strong background in

audit and financial accounting

. The role involves overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting the management in decision-making through financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records. Review and finalize accounts, financial statements, and reports. Supervise and guide the accounting team in daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and closing activities. Conduct and review internal audits and support statutory audit processes. Ensure compliance with Qatar's financial regulations and company policies. Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Coordinate with clients and auditors for audit and reporting requirements. Implement and monitor internal controls to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience:

Minimum

4 to 6 years

of experience in accounting and audit, preferably within a consulting or audit firm. Strong knowledge of IFRS and audit procedures. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Prior experience working in the Gulf region (especially Qatar) will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate:

Candidates with strong

audit exposure

and experience managing teams. Candidates currently based in

Qatar

or willing to relocate.
