Assistant Land Surveyor
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct land surveys and measurements using GPS, total stations, levels, and other surveying instruments.
Interpret architectural and engineering plans and translate them into precise site layouts.
Establish legal property boundaries and prepare site plans, maps, and reports.
Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and construction managers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Monitor and record site progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications and legal requirements.
Maintain and update survey records, documentation, and digital data.
Perform topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys as required.
Ensure safety and accuracy in all fieldwork and data collection activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Valid professional license or certification (e.g., RICS, GISP, or local equivalent).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in land surveying within the construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS software, and surveying tools (e.g., Leica, Trimble).
