Job Summary:
The Assistant Surveyor will support senior surveyors in the planning, execution, and analysis of land, property, and construction surveys. This role requires someone with a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a willingness to learn. The Assistant Surveyor will assist in gathering data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the accuracy of surveys.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and planning of survey projects. Operate survey equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, and leveling instruments. Collect data in the field through measurements and observations. Prepare and process survey data, creating maps and reports as needed. Ensure all survey activities comply with safety standards and local regulations. Review and maintain survey records and documents. Work closely with senior surveyors and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time. Assist in conducting boundary and topographic surveys, construction staking, and other types of surveys. Maintain equipment and ensure it is properly calibrated. Participate in site visits to assess land or building conditions.
Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of experience
Strong knowledge of infrastructure construction practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Job Type: Full-time
