As an Assistant IT Support Technician, you will provide day-to-day technical support for our employees, assisting with hardware, software, network issues, and other IT-related tasks.

ICT Manager (dotted line to MSO)
Key Responsibilities:
IT Technical and Audio-Visual Support:
Installation and configuration of devices such as computers, laptops, printers, iPads, IWB screens, projectors, multimedia products, and any other IT related equipment.
Set up user accounts, emails, office applications and other software on end user devices.
Respond to IT support tickets, phone calls, emails, walked in queries or in person.
Assist users in resolving technical problems with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, iPads and other IT related equipment.
Assist in routine maintenance of devices and updates of software, hardware, and other IT related systems.
Provide assistance to users regarding applications, software, and hardware functionalities.
Maintain documentation for IT issues, resolutions, and any ongoing maintenance processes, repairs and audit activities.
Troubleshooting network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, connections.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the IT Manager.
Oversee the management, organisation and set-up of audio-visual requirements for school assemblies, parent meetings, awards ceremonies, school engagement sessions etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum diploma or higher diploma in Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, IOS), and common software applications (Microsoft Office, teams, SharePoint, etc.).
Certifications:
Industry certifications like Microsoft, CompTIA or other IT-related certifications related to technical support.
Experience:
Ideally a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role within a reputable organization, preferably in a multicultural work environment.
Willing to work after-hours, weekends and holidays when required for system updates, projects, schedule tasks or urgent issues.
