Assistant Housekeeping Manager

As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and maintain overall efficiency of set standards for the Housekeeping function.

What you will be doing:

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates repair and maintenance schedules of rooms.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for usage of all departmental master keys and mini bar keys.

\xc2\xb7 Guides and advises Housekeeping Manager on key performance indicators of employees in the department and ensures measurement of the same.

\xc2\xb7 Conducts daily meetings with Supervisors

\xc2\xb7 Conducts a departmental communication meetings with housekeeping team

\xc2\xb7 Conducts and records inventories, supplies, lost & found, linen for F&B and room linen

\xc2\xb7 Ensures cleanliness and hygiene standards in all hotel areas.

\xc2\xb7 Recommends aesthetic standards for quality up gradation of Housekeeping products, amenities and services.

\xc2\xb7 Ensures adherence to company and hotel policies on all departmental employees.

\xc2\xb7 Checks and controls the availability and proper usage of supplies & material.

\xc2\xb7 Ensures maintenance and upkeep of garden areas and indoor/ outdoor plants as per international standards.

\xc2\xb7 Ensures aesthetic standards of flower arrangements in the hotel.

\xc2\xb7 Ensures quality laundering and dry cleaning of guest and house linen through effective coordination of laundry department

\xc2\xb7 Ensures adherence to international standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas (guest, heart of the house).

\xc2\xb7 Ensures daily inspection of guest rooms and for VIP arrival

\xc2\xb7 Ensures check list for room inspection is done daily by supervisor

\xc2\xb7 Prepares duty roster for all housekeeping employees of different sections.

\xc2\xb7 Overseas the linen room and ensures smooth uniform and linen exchange.

\xc2\xb7 Co-operation with hotel\xe2\x80\x99s Front Office and Engineering.

Your experience and skills include:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in 5* hotel.
  • Minimum 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in managerial role
  • Experience in the GCC and/or Middle East Region is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
  • Be committed to exceeding guest expectations
