Due to continued success and rapid growth, we are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Primary Assistant Head Teacher (Enhanced Curriculum Leader) to join a dynamic and ambitious leadership team in August 2026!

The Role
As Assistant Head Teacher (Enhanced Curriculum Leader), you will play a key strategic role in shaping, embedding, and evaluating a high-quality curriculum across the secondary phase. You will work closely with senior leaders, middle leaders, and teaching teams to ensure the curriculum is coherent, ambitious, inclusive, and aligned with best international practice.
Skills
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of an enhanced, coherent curriculum across subjects and key stages.
Ensuring curriculum design supports progression, challenge, inclusion, and high expectations for all learners.
Working with heads of department to review schemes of work, curriculum sequencing, and subject intent.
Embedding high-quality teaching and learning strategies that align with curriculum aims.
Using assessment and performance information to evaluate curriculum impact and inform refinement.
Supporting staff with curriculum planning, pedagogy, and subject leadership through coaching and CPD.
Contributing to whole-school improvement planning, inspection readiness, and self-evaluation processes.
Promoting cross-curricular links, enrichment, and opportunities that enhance student learning experiences.
Collaborating with pastoral and academic leaders to ensure the curriculum supports student wellbeing and outcomes.
Presenting curriculum developments and impact to senior leadership and governance when required.
Skills and Experience
A degree in Education and recognised teaching qualifications.
Significant classroom experience with a strong track record of middle or senior leadership.
Proven expertise in curriculum design, implementation, and review.
Strong understanding of teaching, learning, and assessment in an international or British curriculum context.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to inspire, lead, and support teams to achieve consistently high standards.
