Position Overview
GEMS Metropole School, Al Waha, Dubai is seeking an Assistant Head Teacher (Data and Assessment) to join its leadership team from January 2026. This role will lead on academic data, assessment systems, timetabling, and examinations to ensure students achieve outstanding progress and staff are empowered with accurate insights to drive excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of a high-quality timetable and effective staff deployment
• Oversee assessment and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and consistency across subjects
• Manage internal and external examination processes and related logistics
• Monitor data collection, analysis, and interpretation to identify trends and guide interventions
• Use performance insights to support target-setting, school improvement, and inspection readiness
• Provide timely and meaningful feedback to staff, students, and parents through structured reporting systems
• Support benchmarking, academic review days, and parent evenings
• Promote a culture of data literacy across the school by training and supporting staff in data use
• Collaborate with leaders across departments to ensure informed decision-making based on data

Ideal Profile

• Degree in Education with recognised teaching qualification
• Substantial teaching experience with proven success in middle or senior leadership
• Strong background in curriculum planning, assessment frameworks, and pastoral support
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and mentoring skills
• Ability to motivate staff, lead by example, and drive a culture of accountability and achievement
