Assistant Hairdresser
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist senior hairdressers during all hair services, including coloring, cutting, treatments, and styling.
-Perform professional blow-dry and hair straightening treatments as needed.
-Provide high-quality hair wash, scalp cleansing, and head massage services to clients.
-Ensure all tools, chairs, and work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized after each client.
-Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the entire salon, including floors, mirrors, wash basins, and workstations.
-Prepare clients for their services by helping with capes, towels, and seating.
-Manage salon supplies and restock items when necessary.
-Support the team by maintaining a smooth flow of service, especially during busy hours.
-Uphold salon standards and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a salon environment, specifically assisting hairdressers.
-Skilled in blow-drying, hair straightening treatments, hair washing, and head massage techniques.
-Knowledge of salon hygiene standards and product handling.
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible for cleaning duties after each client and daily salon upkeep.
-Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude toward clients and team members.
-Willingness to learn and take direction from senior stylists.
