We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Groups and MICE Sales Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for driving group and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sales, developing strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our sales department.
Proactively identify and pursue new group and MICE business opportunities in the local and international markets
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate accounts
Create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients
Conduct site inspections and property tours for prospective clients
Negotiate contracts and ensure all terms and conditions are met
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of events and group bookings
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform sales strategies
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the CRM system
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote group and MICE offerings
Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to senior management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hospitality or MICE sales, preferably in Dubai or the UAE
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong knowledge of the hospitality and events industry in Dubai and the UAE
Excellent sales techniques and negotiation skills
Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in event planning and management
Strong budgeting and financial planning abilities
Outstanding presentation and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Understanding of local business customs and practices in the UAE
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
Professional certifications in event management or hospitality (preferred)
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
