Assistant Grill Chef

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Grill Chef to support the Grill Chef in preparing high-quality grilled dishes. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, grilling, plating, and maintaining kitchen hygiene while ensuring excellent taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Grill Chef in preparing and cooking grilled items (meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables) Prepare ingredients, marinades, and sauces according to recipes Operate grill equipment safely and efficiently Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the grill station and kitchen area Follow food safety and sanitation regulations Assist with stock control and proper storage of ingredients Support the kitchen team during busy service hours

Requirements:

Previous experience as a grill cook or kitchen assistant is preferred Basic knowledge of grilling techniques and food preparation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good teamwork and communication skills Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Good Appearance and polite manner when dealing with customers Commitment and discipline regarding working hours
