Position Summary:

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the overall management and operations of the hotel's Food & Beverage Division, including fine dining restaurants, specialty outlets, bars, lounges, and nightlife venues. The role ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability in line with brand standards. The incumbent will work closely with the F&B Manager to develop and implement service strategies, manage teams, and maintain high standards of product and service quality across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities: Operations Management

Assist in the day-to-day operation of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, lounges, room service, and nightclubs. Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards, hygiene, and safety protocols. Coordinate with outlet managers and chefs to maintain seamless service delivery. Conduct regular inspections of all F&B areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness. Monitor music, ambiance, lighting, and overall guest experience in nightlife venues.

Financial & Business Performance

Support the F&B Manager in preparing budgets, forecasts, and P&L reviews. Analyze sales performance, cost control, and profitability across outlets. Implement upselling and revenue-generation initiatives. Assist in monitoring inventory, purchasing, and waste management to ensure cost efficiency.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

Champion guest satisfaction through personalized service and proactive guest engagement. Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain high visibility in outlets, especially during peak hours and special events. Work with marketing and PR teams to support promotions, themed nights, and signature events.

People Management

Supervise, train, and motivate outlet managers, captains, and service teams. Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes. Ensure all team members follow grooming, conduct, and service standards. Foster a positive, respectful, and performance-driven work environment.

Compliance & Standards

Ensure full compliance with HACCP, local health and safety regulations, and liquor licensing laws. Coordinate with Security and HR regarding nightclub operations and crowd management. Maintain records and reports as per hotel and brand policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field. Minimum

5-7 years of progressive F&B experience

, including at least

2 assistant manager food and beverage role

in a 5-star property. Proven experience managing

nightclubs, bars, and specialty dining concepts

. Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management and cost control. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Flexible to work long hours, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
