Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Assistant Finance Manager

with a background in an accounting firm to support the finance department in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience with audits, financial statements, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Support the budgeting and forecasting process and track variances. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to aid strategic decision-making. Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Supervise daily finance operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation. Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial systems, processes, and internal controls. Participate in special projects such as financial due diligence, system migrations, or process automation. Mentor junior finance staff and ensure adherence to accounting standards and best practices. Proven track record of handling multiple client accounts simultaneously, maintaining high standards of service quality, compliance, and confidentiality in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred). 5+ years of experience in an accounting firm (Big 4 or mid-tier firm experience is an advantage). Strong knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar. Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure. High level of integrity and professionalism. Preferably has experience in the F&B Sector
