Assistant Finance Manager - Client Assignment
Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
N R Doshi & Partners is hiring on behalf of a reputed engineering and ship repair company for the position of Assistant Finance Manager based in Dubai, UAE.
About the Role:
The Assistant Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end financial operations, reporting, and compliance, while supporting the Finance Manager in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting, invoicing, collections, and payments for the Dubai operations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in collaboration with department heads.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax laws.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers, and internal teams to ensure efficient financial processes.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and financial control initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA / ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing finance functions in large organizations.
• Prior exposure to engineering, ship repair, or technical services industries preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP implementation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask, plan effectively, and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: AED 15,000 - 18,000
• Benefits: Air tickets, medical insurance, performance bonus, annual leave, and gratuity.
