Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Installation:
Help move, hoist, and assemble elevator components like cars, doors, motors, and control systems.Hand Tools & Equipment:
Use hand and power tools for disassembly, assembly, and repair; operate hoists, dollies, and rollers.Electrical Support:
Connect electrical wiring, assist with testing using devices like ammeters and voltmeters, and help troubleshoot control systems.Maintenance:
Clean, lubricate (oil/grease), and inspect equipment as directed.Safety & Compliance:
Learn and follow strict safety regulations, building codes, and company procedures.Site Support:
Load/unload tools, maintain a tidy workspace, and read blueprints/schematics.Learning:
Gain knowledge of elevator systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques through on-the-job training.Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude and interest in electronics. Comfortable working with heights, on construction sites, and with heavy machinery. Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments. Strong desire to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team. Basic understanding of electrical principles and schematics.
