What you will be doing:
Ensure timely and accurate production of monthly management reports including consolidating data from various sources for meaningful variance and other analysis
Support in the planning, coordination and production of interim and annual group and entity level financial statements, accounting schedules and related external reporting deliverables
Determine appropriate accounting treatment and internal policy for transactions in accordance with accounting standards and management reporting needs
Oversee centralised group-wide lease management and accounting for IFRS16
Implement internal control processes to enhance quality, consistency, and accuracy of reporting
Assist in addressing queries from external and internal auditors
Partner with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to provide financial analysis in support of forecasting and budget initiatives
Lead the execution of monthly system closing
Streamline intercompany reconciliations
Handle full sets of statutory accounts for investment holding subsidiaries
Drive improved efficiency and effectiveness across related processes
Coach, guide and review work of team members
Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required
Your experience and skills include:
Degree holder and Qualified Accountant (CPA or equivalent)
Audit experience with internationally recognised audit firms a definite plus
Minimum 5 years\' relevant experience of which 2 years\' experience in a supervisory role
Experience in preparing audit schedules, audit responses and financial statements preferred
Experience in using SAP advantageous
Strong analytical mind and interpersonal skills
Strong skills in MS Office applications, especially in Excel
Good command of spoken and written English
Takes accountability for executing tasks to a high standard
Able to work under pressure and be flexible when necessary to meet deadlines
Takes the initiative to look at process and efficiency improvements
Proactively seeks guidance and asks thoughtful questions
A good team player working collaboratively with others
