Job Summary
Manages all engineering/maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Supports the Director of Engineering for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements. Leads the emergency response team for all facility issues.
As an Assistant Director of Engineering we rely on you to
Maintain the entire hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and other related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.
Assist in directing and overseeing the functionality and safety of the facility, including, but not limited to, physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems and grounds according to local regulations.
Assign, verify and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system
Plan, Orangnise and implement Preventive Maintenance Programs.
Maintain effective energy management and preventive maintenance programs and conduct special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel.
Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and the hotel's procedures in regards to the guest contact.
Ensure all Laundry and Kitchen equipments are well maintained.
Train and lead the team to ensure smooth functioning of engineering operations
Requirements
Engineering Degree with Specialistaion Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / with strong expereinec of 7-9 Years in Luxury 5 Star Hotels.
