Job Summary: The Assistant Director supports the Director in managing daily operations, coordinating projects, and ensuring organizational goals are met. This role involves overseeing staff, assisting with strategic planning, and ensuring efficient workflow. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a strong communicator, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Operational Support:

  • Assist the Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, projects, or productions.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefs for senior management.
  • Team Coordination & Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor staff, delegating tasks as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between departments and stakeholders.
  • Conduct meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Project & Event Management:
  • Coordinate logistics for projects, events, or productions (budgets, timelines, resources).
  • Monitor progress and troubleshoot issues to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and industry standards.
  • Strategic Planning & Administration:
  • Assist in developing organizational strategies and policies.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain records, documentation, and databases.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as a liaison between the Director and internal/external parties.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, or public events.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in [relevant field - e.g., Business, Film, Education, etc.]. Master's preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a supervisory or coordination role. Industry-specific experience may be required (e.g., film, nonprofit, corporate).
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Office, Asana, Trello).
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Budgeting and financial oversight.
Work Environment:
